Effective Removal of Reactive Yellow 145 (RY145) using Biochar Derived from Groundnut Shell

The decolorization of reactive yellow 145 from wastewater in batch mode operation using groundnut shell-based biochar was studied the present research. adsorption process by investigating effects different variables such as temperature, initial dye concentration, pH, and dosage. results showed that dosage had a substantial impact on absorption potential. equilibrium determined to be 1 g/L, with an capacity 7.33 mg/g. effect pH examined varying between 2.0 5.0, obtained at 2.0. temperature ranges 30 45°C, optimum condition identified 35°C. characteristics were analytical instruments, concluded sorption onto resulted variation biochar. Desorption studies carried out evaluate potential examining various elutants altering solid liquid ratio. Groundnut shell-generated reported remediate dye-bearing Remazol removal effectiveness about 62% based experimental data.
